Do you use live bait or artificial lures fishing on Texoma?

We will only use artificial lures. Live bait fishing was not how I grew up. The thrill of casting, feeling the bite, and setting the hook with artificial lures can not be beat!

How long are the fishing trips?

4 to 5 hours on the water. Then about 1 hour to clean and package your fish and take pictures with your catch of the day.

What do I need to bring on the fishing charter?

Bring a cooler with your snacks and drinks (beer is OK), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and rain gear if needed.

Do I need a Texas fishing license?

Yes, anyone on the boat 17 years of age or older will need a Lake Texoma Fishing License.

Do you fish with live bait or artificial lures?

I only fish with artificial lures.

When is the best time to fish on Lake Texoma?

I fish all year around. Lake Texoma is a great resource and fish can be caught all 4 seasons of the year.

How many people can fish at one time?

My boat can handle 6 anglers. If your group has more than 6, we can get an additional boat to accommodate your group.

What is the catch limit when fishing on Lake Texoma?

The limit is 10 Lake Texoma Striper per person and only 2 of those 10 can be 20 inches or greater in length.
